QUEYSANNE
Born in Casablanca in 1941. Studied
philosophy at the Sorbonne from 1960 to 1964. A colleague
of Louis Althusser and Pierre Bourdieu in the realm
of cultural sociology from 1965-67. He then taught the
sociology of architecture at the Beaux-Arts in Paris
until 1970. He was actively involved in the movement
of May 68. In 1971, he School of Architecture
at Grenoble in order to pursue the study of philosophy
and history. His work centres on the Renaissance and
Baroque periods and the beginning of the modern movement.
The urban forms that he is increasingly preoccupied
by: Pienza, Ferrara, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chandigarh.
